Lund is ready to welcome Pope Franciskus. I am also ready with my Canon. Police is in place and streets are safe.

Now off to the Cathedral for ecumenical mass. Just a short walk.

I was lucky to come very early and had a perfect place to shoot photos. Some were less lucky and climbed the small trees to get a glimpse.

I think he really is a nice man ….

I was freezing in several hours – I didn’t feel my thumbs when I left Lundagård – I went home and made myself a warm soup with lots of garlic and ginger. Hopefully I will not get a cold. Now I have wrapped myself into my blanket of sheepskin. Cosy!
